मुंबई : आयुर्वेदाचार्य बालाजी तांबे यांचं आज निधन झालं. ते 81 वर्षांचे होते. पुण्यातील एका खासगी रुग्णालयात उपचारादरम्यान त्यांची प्राणज्योत मालवली. बालाजी तांबे यांच्या पश्चात पत्नी वीणा तांबे, मुलगा सुनील, संजय, सुना आणि नातवंडे असा परिवार आहे. राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसचे अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांनी तांबे यांना ट्विटरवरुन श्रद्धांजली अर्पण केली. बालाजी तांबे यांच्या निधनानं विशाल वैश्विक कुटुंब पोरके झाले, असं शरद पवार यांनी आपल्या ट्वीटमध्ये म्हटलंय. तब्बल पाच दशकं आयुर्वेद, अध्यात्म आणि संगीतोपचार यांचा प्रसार आणि प्रचाराचं कार्य करणारे आयुर्वेदाचार्य बालाजी तांबे यांचं आज वृद्धापकाळानं निधन झालं. बालाजी तांबेंचं आयुर्वेदातील कार्य फक्त स्थानिक, राज्य किंवा देशभरापुरतं मर्यादित न राहाता आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावर देखील त्यांच्या उपचारपद्धतींना मानणारा एक मोठा वर्ग होता. राजकारण ते समाजकारण आणि उद्योग जगत ते सिनेविश्व अशा सर्वच क्षेत्रांमध्ये बालाजी तांबे यांचा मित्र परिवार देखील होता. शिवसेना प्रमुख बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांच्याशी देखील बालाजी तांबेंचा गाढा स्नेह होता. एबीपी माझा वाहिनीला नुकत्याच दिलेल्या मुलाखतीमध्ये त्यांनी बाळासाहेब ठाकरेंविषयीची आपली एक आठवण देखील सांगितली होती.

MTDCचा बंगला आणि बाळासाहेबांकडे तक्रार

बालाजी तांबे त्या काळी एमटीडीसीच्या एका बंगल्यात भाड्याने राहात होते. त्यावेळी बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांनी बालाजी तांबेंच्या बंगल्यावर मुक्काम केला. यावेळी बालाजी तांबे यांनी केलेल्या तक्रारीनंतर चक्क बाळासाहेब ठाकरेंनी हातात काठी घेऊन सगळ्यांचीच शाळा घेतल्याची आठवण बालाजी तांबेंनी सांगितली होती.

बाळासाहेब ठाकरे बालाजी तांबेंच्या बंगल्यावर राहाण्यासाठी आले असताना त्यांना सगळीकडे अस्वच्छता दिसली. बंगल्याच्या आजूबाजूला कचरापट्टी झाली होती. याबाबत त्यांनी बालाजी तांबे यांना विचारणा केली होती. तेव्हा बालाजी तांबेंनी आपली तक्रार त्यांच्यापुढे मांडली. “मी त्यांना सगळं सांगितलं. जिथे स्वच्छता आहे तिथे लक्ष्मी आहे, आम्ही स्वच्छतेवरच सगळी लक्ष्मी कमावली आहे वगैरे. पण कुणी काही ऐकतच नाही”, असं बालाजी तांबेंनी बाळासाहेबांना सांगितलं.

बाळासाहेबांनी हे सगळं ऐकलं आणि तडक एक काठीच हातात घेतल आणि फर्मान सोडलं, “बोलवा रे त्या सगळ्यांना”. बाळासाहेबांचा हा पवित्रा पाहून बालाजी तांबेंनी विचारलं, “बाळासाहेब, तुमची युनियन आहे का इथे?” त्यावर बाळासाहेब उत्तरले, “माझं युनियन नाही. पण मी दाखवतो युनियनशिवाय कशी कामं होतात ते!”

In the 1960s, the US government decided to make the 1% probability of exceeding the limit per year (AEP) the basis of the national flood insurance plan, because 1% of AEP floods were considered a fair balance between protecting the public and strict supervision. It should also be noted that a torrential rain that occurs once in a hundred years does not necessarily cause a flood that occurs once in a hundred years. Mapping the residual risk

FIRM does not consider floods that occur when river embankments, dams, and sea embankments are destroyed or submerged. It is difficult to imagine how much impact these flood infrastructures will have if they fail. As sea levels rise and precipitation events become more extreme, and land use changes over time, the flood map of the future will be very different from today. Buildings currently constructed have a reasonable life span of 50 to 100 years; development projects that are currently believed to be protected from flooding may be damaged in the near future. In order to take into account the impact of future floods, the effects of sea level rise, coastal and river erosion, and changes in precipitation patterns should be included in the flood mapping as much as possible.
