A 15-year-old boy used to sell water on a railway platform. He used the money to run the house. One day, while selling water, a Shetji sitting in the train called out to him. The boy ran to him and handed him a bottle of water. Shethji asked how much money?
The boy said- a bottle for 10 rupees.
Sheth said- will you pay for 7 rupees?
Hearing Shetji's words, the boy smiled and walked away. A saint was sitting near Shetji. They saw it all kind of. The only question they had was, why did the boy smile and move on, there must be some secret behind this.
The Mahatma got down from the train and followed the boy selling water. After going a little farther, he stopped the boy and asked, "Why did you laugh when Shetji bargained for a bottle of water?" The boy said- Maharaj, I smiled because Shethji was not thirsty. They were just considering the price of the bottle.
The Mahatma asked, "Why did you think that Shethji was not thirsty?"
The boy replied, "Sir, a person who is really thirsty never asks for water." He takes the first bottle and drinks water and then asks how much to pay?
Asking the first price does not mean thirst. Santa agreed with the boy and got on the train.
Moral
Everyone wants to achieve something in life. Some people pursue their goals without any argument and succeed. Some people, on the other hand, make mistakes or get caught up in everything. This is because they do not want to reach the goal, they just get stuck in their own thoughts.

एक 15 वर्षांचा मुलगा रेल्वे प्लॅटफॉर्मवर पाणी विकायचा. यातून मिळालेल्या पैशाने घर चालवायचा. एके दिवशी पाणी विकत असताना ट्रेनमध्ये बसलेल्या एका शेठजीने त्याला आवाज देऊन जवळ बोलावून घेतले. मुलगा पळत-पळत त्याच्याकडे गेला आणि पाण्याची बॉटल शेठकडे दिली, शेठजीने विचारले किती पैसे?

शेठ म्हणाला- 7 रुपयात देणार का?
शेठजीचे बोलणे ऐकून मुलगा गालातल्या गालात हसला आणि पुढे निघून गेला. शेठजीजवळ एक संत बसलेले होते. त्यांनी हा सर्व प्रकार पाहिला. त्यांना एकच प्रश्न पडला की, मुलगा हसून पुढे का निघून गेला, नक्की यामागे काहीतरी रहस्य असावे.
महात्मा ट्रेनमधून खाली उतरले आणि पाणी विकणाऱ्या मुलाच्या मागे-मागे गेले. थोडे दूर गेल्यानंतर त्यांनी मुलाला थांबवले आणि विचारले- शेठजीने पाणी बॉटलचा मोल-भाव केल्यानंतर तू कशामुळे हसला? मुलगा म्हणाला- महाराज, मला हसू यामुळे आले की शेठजीला तहान लागलीच नव्हती. ते फक्त बॉटलची किंमत विचारात होते.
महात्माने विचारले- तुला असे का वाटले की, शेठजीला तहान लागली नव्हती?
मुलाने उत्तर दिले- महाराज, ज्या व्यक्तीला खरंच तहान लागते तो कधीही पाण्याचा भाव विचारत नाही. तो तर पहिले बॉटल घेऊन पाणी पितो आणि नंतर विचारतो किती पैसे द्यायचे?
पहिले भाव विचारण्याचा अर्थ तहान लागलेली नाही. संतालाही मुलाचे म्हणणे पटले आणि ते ट्रेनमध्ये जाऊन बसले.
Moral
प्रत्येक व्यक्तीला जीवनात काही-न-काही प्राप्त करण्याची इच्छा असते. काही लोक कोणताही तर्क-वितर्क न लावता आपले लक्ष्य गाठण्याच्या मागे लागतात आणि यशस्वी होतात. याउलट काही लोक प्रत्येक गोष्टीमध्ये त्रुटी काढतात किंवा विचारात अडकून पडतात. याचे कारण म्हणजे त्यांना लक्ष्यापर्यंत जायचेच नसते, ते फक्त स्वतःच्या विचारातच अडकून पडतात.
